Travelbugs are activated by the entrants. They are not to be placed as s.f.g. will "grab" them from everyone and start them in the same location.
After the race starts, the racers will get picked up by anyone not invested in the race(please see rules), and with any luck, the racers then started their year long journey from cache to cache earning points as they go.
At the halfway mark, the leader will be given a geocoin as a prize.
Also at halfway, anyone who was lost, stolen or destroyed in the first half of the race will be able to re-enter at no cost. They must first be "Marked as Missing" and any points they accumulated in the first half will be null and void.
The Race will end 48 hours before the 10th Winter Cache Event at the end of January/beginning of February of 2015
Prizes will be decided based on the amount of entrants we have (the more people race the better the prizes!)
